Summer Camp COVID-19 Protocols
We are fully committed to providing the safest possible environment for everyone who attends our summer camp – children and staff alike.
We will follow the expert advice and guidelines of the time and we will put in place the necessary arrangements to ensure the health and safety of all but also and most importantly to ensure a fun and enjoyable experience. Here are some of the measures that we will take.
- Online Booking only
It will only be possible to book and pay online. Paper registration forms and cash payment will not be possible.
- Pre event staff training
Our staff will be fully trained to manage the environment and deliver activities in line with the advice at the time. We are fully committed to providing a safe environment for all.
- Dedicated Covid Compliance Lead person
We will appoint a Covid Compliance Lead person to oversee the safe delivery of the summer camp at all times.
- Health Screening
The parents of all participants will be required to submit a health screening form a number of days before camp. This will be emailed to registered participants beforehand.
- Capacity limit
To ensure we can operate to social distancing guidelines we will have a capacity limit so book early to avoid disappointment!
- Socially distanced activities / Activity pods (limited no’s per activity)
Having fun, being active and making friends is the goal. We will have control measures in place to deliver our activities in small groups for the duration of the week.
- Indoor and outdoors activity
Weather permitting we will aim to run many activities in the outdoor environment of St Anne’s Park as well as our own sports-hall in Clontarf.
- Regular cleaning schedule
Regular cleaning procedures will be carried out after all activity sessions to include any equipment used and the general environment.
- Excellent hygiene practises
Excellent hygiene practises will be strongly encouraged at all times, for both participants and staff alike.
- Controlled environment
Drop off and collection arrangements will be controlled in the outdoor areas of the sports centre in Clontarf. Indoor collection/drop off will not be permitted. More details to follow.
