Junior Club Notes

Two junior clubs held official launches at the end of 2012; the Galway Speeders and the Dublin Swifts based in Clontarf.

The Dublin Swifts is one of the oldest junior IWA – Sport clubs which has been running most Sunday mornings in IWA, Clontarf since the 1980’s.

In Galway, IWA – Sport Development Officer Rena McCarron Rooney was responsible for the setting up of the Galway Speeders in 2010.

Additionally the Rebel Wheelers based in Cork city are currently undergoing a fundraising drive to purchase a bus.
