IWA - Sport is delighted to announce Irish Stairlifts and Bathrooms as the main sponsor of the Irish Wheelchair basketball league for the 2010 / 2011 season. The agreement will last for the duration of the 2010/11 season and will include both league and cup competitions.

5th Irish Wheelchair Tennis Open Report |

The 5th Invacare Ireland Irish Wheelchair Tennis Open took place in David Lloyd Riverview from august 20th to the 22nd. There were two categories A and B and a very high standard of tennis was played in both categories throughout the weekend. |

Celebrating 50 Years of IWA - Sport |

IWA - Sport is hosting a celebratory night including dinner and entertainment to celebrate the contribution of IWA - Sport to our member's lives over the past 50 years on November 27th in Bewleys Hotel at Dublin Airport. The highlight of the night will be the unveiling of a Hall of Fame which will be displayed thereafter in the Oliver Murphy Sports and Recreation Centre at the Irish Wheelchair Association in Clontarf. All members past and present are welcome. Tickets are €60.00 each and can be secured with a €20.00 deposit.
